History:
NOVUS COMMUNITY SERVICES arises from the heart of the community. As many people faced COVID 19 in 2020, doctors warned of a “Mental health pandemic” superposed to the already tragic pandemic. Whether people have been diagnosed with a mental condition or not before the pandemic, many of them have struggled with their mental wellbeing. Over the last 12 months, many people had to adapt to their jobs, social lives, and essential services being moved online, and mental health services were not excluded from the disaster.
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our lifestyles, daily routines, financials, and social life. Surveys show a major increase in the number of U.S. adults who report symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression during the pandemic. Some people have increased their consumption of alcohol or drugs, thinking it can help them cope with their fears about the pandemic, which has worsened anxiety and depression.
We offer a fresh idea and the compromise to make available rehabilitation and recovery services to those suffering from general mental health issues, negative effects of substance abuse, or serious mental conditions. The leaders and staff of our group have a sturdy promise to continue quality improvement and learning. We strongly believe the best is yet to come, and Novus Community Services is engaged to provide a broad spectrum of quality mental health services to adults and kids surrounding the community of Miami Dade County.
